Celebrating the Value of Each and Every Woman on International Women’s Day: El Sawy Culturewheel

Rana Ragab - Mar 2020

Regardless of gender, race, culture, background or religion, everyone deserves to be treated equally and respected for what makes them different. Our differences are unique and they makes us who we are, and everyone should be accepted and appreciated accordingly.

Every year on the 8th of March, women from different parts of the world come together to speak for gender equality and women’s rights. This day reflects on what women are capable of, their undeniable value, strength and their importance in society.

Overcoming gender stereotypes has been a huge challenge for women since a very long time but as development continues in society in terms of education, social acceptance and awareness, it has become a wide-spread belief that women deserve to be acknowledged and respected, simply for being a woman.

This eventful day aims to celebrate some of the biggest achievements that ladies have accomplished, their continuous dedication to create and succeed, their empowerment through health and education and above all, the support and encouragement they deserve.

There are a number of global events held on International Women’s Day, including conferences, concerts, festivals and the list goes on... These events are arranged with the purpose to bring women together and highlight their significance. To break away from their busy life as wives, mothers, employees or whatever it may be, women are encouraged to recognize how far they’ve come and how worthy they are.

This year, El Sawy Culturewheel organizes a workshop: The World of Women in One Day. The event is held on the 14th of March 2020 and involves a range of activities, including health measures, sponsorships, gifts, vouchers and many more surprises to celebrate the idea of “we can do it!” Book your tickets now:
