Some of us don’t know exactly how makeup is formed, but there is a lot that we can do which can save us a lot of money and is more guaranteed to be organic. Homemade makeup consists of a few simple ingredients, and the good news is you can adjust the perfect shade that goes with your skin. Here, you’ll learn how to create your own mineral-free blush in just 3 simple steps.
Firstly, choose a base.
• Arrowroot powder
• Cornstarch
Secondly, select one or more options for colour.
• Cinnamon powder
• Cacao powder
•Beetroot powder
• Hibiscus powder
Thirdly, make sure you have these tools.
• Small bowl
• Jar/container
• Blender
• Spoon
Step 1:
Put 1-2 tablespoons of the selected base, depending on the quantity you want to make. Then, add the colour ingredient you prefer to create a red/pink/peach/brown shade.
Step 2:
Stir it all together until you reach the shade you originally wanted. Make sure you test the colour on your skin as you go, and add more if you need it to be more concentrated.
Step 3:
Last but not least, if you feel that the mixture is slightly clumpy just put it into the blender for a few seconds. If not, then it’s ready to be put into a container.
